daniel-tran-Jt4xl6KAQo8-unsplash.jpg

Home to some of the world’s whitest sands, the beaches in Jervis Bay are some of Australia's finest. Dazzling aqua waters, sparkling white sands, and amazing marine life (like dolphins, seals, whales and fairy penguins) all combine to make this spot the epitome of paradise. Enveloping the bay are breathtaking bushlands where tranquil trails and native wildlife are in abundance. If you’re a keen caravanner, Jervis Bay suits all travellers, from couples after a quiet weekend getaway to families after a fun-filled beachside break. If you’re seeking a Jervis Bay caravan park for your next adventure, here is an inspirational guide.

Great for pet owners - Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach

In terms of Jervis Bay caravan parks with pet-friendly accommodation, Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach is a fantastic option. For caravanners, it offers ensuite, powered and powered bushland sites. It’s also family-friendly, with lots of facilities to keep the kids occupied, including a playground, swimming pool, tennis court, and a Spider Park. Spend the day on the water canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding (the park offers stand-up paddle board hire). Then, top the day off with a bike ride or a walk with the fur baby around the bay’s famous walking path, the White Sands Walk.

  • Facilities: ensuite, powered and powered bushland sites, BBQ, camp kitchen and picnic facilities, laundry facilities, playground, swimming pool, tennis court, stand-up paddle board hire, smoke-free holiday park, direct beach access.
  • Cost: From $50 per night, but check the website for details.
  • Pet-friendly: Yes, in certain areas. Guests must notify the venue on booking and before check-in.

Great for beach lovers - Holiday Haven White Sands

If you’re a beach lover after a caravan park in Jervis Bay, Holiday Haven White Sands will delight with its direct access to Huskisson Beach. Located in the historic town of Huskisson, and close to Hyams Beach and other Jervis Bay attractions. Hyams Beach is found on the southern shores of the Jervis Bay Marine Park and is perfect for snorkelling, swimming and stand-up paddle boarding. It’s a beach lovers’ paradise! The marine park is also a haven for fur seals, bottlenose dolphins, and penguins. Between May and November, humpback and southern right whales also undertake their annual migration along the NSW South Coast (book a tour and see them close up!)

  • Facilities: Ensuite sites, BBQ facilities, camp kitchen, dump point, kid’s playground, laundry, video security, internet and Wi-Fi.

There are adventures galore to be had here! Snorkel, swim, fish and kayak your way among these treasures, and finish your holiday with a trip to the “Point Perp” lighthouse. While there is no inside accessibility, the area has spectacular vantage points for birds, migratory whales, and other sea life. Catering to all ages, young and old, homely comforts await you at the caravan park after a day of adrenalin-enhancing adventures!

Great for surfers - Kiama caravan parks

If you’re after (another) perfect surf break, you may need to head a little further out (just over an hour) from Jervis Bay to Kiama. But we guarantee it will be worth it! From Gerroa’s Seven Mile Beach (that promises a beginner’s wave in almost any condition) to the legendary Werri Beach (best suited to intermediate surfers when the tide is low), the Kiama area has reef and beach breaks to suit everyone. It also has a few not-too-shabby caravan parks for after-wave relaxation.

Kendalls Beach Holiday Park

Located only minutes from Kiama’s town centre and nestled between two rocky headlands, Kendalls Beach Holiday Park has absolute beach frontage. It also offers ensuite sites, powered and unpowered sites for your van, and additional facilities to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep after a day of salt-filled surfing.

On a sweeping beach between two rocky headlands, with a natural lagoon at one end and rock swimming pools at the other, Werri Beach Holiday Park is opposite the popular Werri Beach, famous for fishing and surfing opportunities. Facilities include beachside powered sites, ensuite sites, and riverside powered and unpowered sites.
